Although Quinces can be eaten raw, not many people enjoy them this way. They are so delicious once cooked and make the most beautiful coloured pinky/red juice which can be made into quince jelly or quince paste. You can also poach them. There are other recipes for Quinces also.
Quinces will last for quite a while (refrigerate) so once purchased you have some time before needing to use them. Quinces are a fruit with unique flavour and special qualities and the most beautiful aroma whilst cooking them.

Finmaw Farm is a small family run farm situated in the picturesque hills of Mardan in South Gippsland, Victoria. We are a mixed farm using ethical principals and are certified organic growing cattle, sheep, vegetables and fruit following the organic standards set by NASAA (National Association for Sustainable Agriculture Australia).
This means that we raise grass fed beef and lamb and grow vegetables (from seed) and fruit …all without chemicals. Respect and care for our animals and the environment in which they live is paramount. By supporting a local farmer like us at Finmaw, you are supporting sustainable agriculture and receiving fresh seasonal organic healthy produce. Healthy soils produce healthy food and when consumed by us = healthy people!
