Organic kohlrabi (bulb)


Sold per bulb. Also called the German turnip, kohlrabi can be eaten raw or cooked (just peel the skin off) and gets used in roasts, coleslaws, as chips or in curries. Our favourite is to roast them in the oven like chips or to grate them into a slaw with apple and fennel. High in vitamin C, potassium, fiber and vitamin B6

Into the Roots farm

We’re located in the hills of a little town called Bena (South Gippsland), 1.5 hours south east of Melbourne, on the land of the Bunurong people.

Surrounded by rolling hills and dairy land, we’ve got 2/3 acre in production where we use organic and regenerative agricultural principles to grow nutrient dense vegetables and colourful flowers. We love the way local produce connects the community to each other, their food and the care of the land, something that seems to be getting more important every day.
