Moyarra Reserve is a semi-hard cheese made with raw sheep milk from our dairy. At around 12 months maturation, it has a golden, smear rind. The texture is close and smooth. A vibrant, floral aroma greets the senses, building into a complex caramel finish, with spice lingering on the back palate.
Moyarra Special is a once off batch made for the filming of Cheese Slices with host Will Studd assisting in the make. Made in the traditional way and cellar ripened. This cheese has very interesting colours on the rind (florescent pink). Very unique
Bena RAW is a sheep milk cheddar style, 18 months old. Great flavour development
The only commercial cheese in Victoria (one of two in Australia) to be uncooked at any stage of the process, all life from our fresh, clean raw Moyarra ewes summer milk is encapsulated in this simple gourmet delight. While not a strong cheese, the flavours are unique and complex.
