Salsa Verde Dressing


Salsa Verde literally means ‘green sauce’ in Spanish and dates back to the Aztecs. It’s a family staple in Italy and France and is known as the now popular ‘chimichurri’ in Argentina.
Traditionally made using whatever is fresh and seasonal, it is full of the herbs that are prolific in my garden. Basil, parsley, mint and garlic as well as capers, lemon juice and my homemade Dijon mustard. Drizzle over your favourite steamed vegetables or add to a salad. VEGAN!! There is no anchovies in this dressing even though they are traditional. The lemon juice, capers and mustard give it a great tang anyway.
My delightful dressings are all fermented and made fresh weekly. They will add zing to your salads and vegetables while giving your gut the beneficial bacterias it loves! Choose from Caesar Dressing, Lemon & Ginger Kombucha Dressing or my favourite, Salsa Verde.
